Credem is a multiregional banking group, operating across Italy with 638 branches, enterprise and financial advisory centres, 6.223 employees and 806 financial advisors acting with client mandate. In the first half of 2019, Credem Group continues its upward growth on the bancassurance model, an effective service to manage client’s multiple needs. The Group continued in supporting Italian economy, with loans growing at 5% YoY (against +0,6% registered by the system overall in the same period) and reaching 25,5 B€. The Group consolidated also its financial strength, firmly at the top of the banking system. CET1 ratio was equal to 13,3%, 530 bps higher than the 8% regulatory minimum requirement (the lowest among Italian banks subject to ECB supervisory). Additionally, the number of employees continued to grow: 149 new employees of which the 77,2% recently graduated from school or university. Consolidated net income showed a 6,8% growth rate and was equal to 101,5 M€, compared to 95 M€ at the end of the first half of 2018 and confirm the continuous profitability of the Group.
